Yulia is a researcher, designer & artisan, interested in wearables, jewellery and all things
odd and beautiful. Her creative outputs and research interests are set in the realm of digital 
jewellery and fashion tech. As a jeweller, Yulia has a particular interest in sentimental 
keepsake objects that hold memories of events and connect people to one another. As an 
academic, she is fascinated by the emerging fusion of wearable technologies with these 
traditional and highly personable artefacts.

Yulia is currently conducting her research in Media & Arts Technology Centre at Queen Mary 
University of London.
