Ivo works as Operations Manager at VI Company in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Day to day the role includes ScrumMaster, Agile developer, First Response team member and process improver or Agile coach – whatever is needed of him. Ivo first came into contact with Agile in 2009. His former boss, Jurgen Appelo, tried to introduce Scrum at their joint employer. In his current job at VI Company he introduced the Agile method himself. Scrum was first introduced for project teams and after that Kanban for support (which VI Company calls ‘First Response’). He supports Management 3.0 techniques and tries to apply it in a practical way at VI Company.
