Developing physical (connected) products creates different challenges during the different phases. A start-up has limited time and budget to get the product to the market. As soon as demands grows, the production needs to be increased. When it becomes a success, the emphases shifts to multi sourcing, reliability control and risk management. SLIM design helps ambitious start-ups and multinationals creating working prototypes fast, while making sure it is ready for mass production. Wouter will share his knowledge and experience gained in projects for Philips, Nike, Panasonic, MSI and several start-ups.
